My Twins were 18months. they just started looking too big for their cot, so i decided to make the change.

My son was 16 months when we put him in a toddler bed.  He hated his crib from newborn and as he got a little older he got worse.  He loved the bed and slept great.  Now he is 4 and he still sleeps great.

It depends on the kid. My first was 14 months before he got off his lazy butt to walk, so he went into the big boy bed as soon as he could crawl out of mine and walk around!

The other two were moved once they stopped nursing, right around two years for each of them.

Shortly after my daughter's 1st birthday, we put her in a toddler bed.  Just recently, we switched her to a twin size bed(she's 2 now).

two--once he learned to throw himself over the side of the crib.

17 months, at which time he demonstrated his ability to climb over the crib railing.  It's hard to keep him in the bed though.

On her second birthday we started the "big-girl bed."  We never had a problem with her trying to climb out of her crib though.
