Assuming he exists, I don't believe Jesus ever met Saul.

The apostle that he loved the most (John) was in his teens, he's often depicted as not even having had facial hair, meaning he was fairly young.  The rest of the apostles were a variety of ages, older than John, and possibly older than Jesus.  Jesus also appreciated the gentleness and love that is part of a woman's nature.  He knew that women play as big of a role in serving the Lord as men do.  As for Saul, it is doubtful that the two ever met prior to Jesus' death.
