I was 13 at Disneyland. I was scared of rollercoasters for a long time, but now I like them. I went on Big Thunder Mountain.

The Magnum XL-200 at Cedar Point.  I was about 7 years old.  I am absolutely in love with roller coasters and have been ever since.  I'm now 23.

The first Roller-coaster i went on was Kingda Ka it was the most fantastic ride ever (and i was 9) and now when i look bak i can't believe it was the tallest and fastest coaster ever built lol!

My first roller coaster was probably a little kiddy one when I was 6 or 7 but I think my 1st proper roller coaster was when I was 9 and went on Irn Bru at blackpool. now i have been on all of the big ones at blackpool, alton towers and disneyland paris!

My step sister & I BEGGED our parents to let us go on Hercules at Dorney Park in Pennsylvania. We had to have been only about 12.  It was a rough ride. We ended up slamming heads half way through. They since ripped the coaster down & built a new one called Hydra. Which is also a pretty good time. :)

i was 10 in fifth grade. Kingda Ka in sixflags great adventure.  they were both great rides. i would consider going to six flags if i were u. they have 2 record breaking rollercoasters and an amazing park.  Just trust me and go to jackson newjersey for a vacation or just a trip if your local. its very fun. just keep in mind that when ur done with the park theres not much inthe surrounding area.

ps. the 2 record breaking rolercoasters are Kingda Ka (the tallest fastest rollercoaster in the world) and el toro(the steepest and fastest wooden rollercoaster in the world)

I was just a week shy of turning 20 when I rode my first coaster. My first was Roadrunner Express at Fiesta Texas in 1997. Better late than never!  I was addicted immediately, and I am now a member of the American Coaster Enthusiasts.

Well my first time it was scorpion at Busch Gardens too.. and i was like 6 or 7, but the first time i went on the adult sized coaster was when i was 10 and it was Tennessee Tornado at Dollywood in Tn.

Oh boy, even though I'm 16 now I still remember this. The Rover's Rescue coaster or whatever it's called in Sesame Place, PA. :D I must've been like..5 or something. Loved it, and wanted to go on it again and again.

Honestly, I don't even know.  My parents started taking me to amusement parks when I was a baby. As soon as I was tall enough then she started taking me on all of the rides. My dad wouldn't go on those rides with her so she needed someone that would. :-)  

Cool. Good for you. It was probably a local park around here. I've been to Busch Gardens, Disney, Magic Mountain, and Knotts Berry Farm. We went there when I was a baby.

My first ride was the scorpion also! I was 4, rode it with my uncle, and loved it according to my mom.  But now I'm 16, and up until i was 12, I was terrified of rollercoasters. But now I love them and ride them any chance I get.  You should ride the Kingda Kah in Six Flags: Great Adventure in New Jersey, it...is...amazing.

I was about 12 (The Beast at Kings Island).  But I just took my 8 year old god-daughter to Disney World, and she rode on Space Mountain (5 times), Everest (6 times - 3 in a row at one point) and Rock'n'Rollercoaster (3 times).  Plus all the scary rides like Tower of Terror (OK, not that scary, really), Mission Space (the full one), Dinosour, and Test Track.

She'd never even been to an amusement park before, but now she's hooked on speed!

when I was 7 or 8 I rode my first coaster at the now-torn-down Buckroe Amusement Park in Hampton VA

It was a wooden coaster - - lots of fun.  I'm still riding coasters too.

3.    I went on the Racer back in 1972 when King's Island opened. No seat belts back then and no height requirements like now. When we "caught air" my mom had to hold me down. Wouldn't touch a coaster again until I tried the Beast at 13. Now I'm an addict (hence my screen name "coasterphile= lover of coasters")
