I was 6 yrs old, thats when I got my first bike n that was 24 yrs ago, my daughter was the same age when we took the training wheels off her bike but my son was about 4, coz he wanted his bike to b like his big sisters bike with only 2 wheels as he thought this is y she can go alot faster than him...Lol

well I was around 5 when I first rode a bike without training wheels but my daughter is 7 and she still has training wheels.  Some kids just take longer to learn or just need to work up the courage to try.  Just keep persevering and they will learn in their own time.

I was sooooo attached to my bro when we were kids - I used to watch him all the time. That's how I learnt to ride without training wheels at age 3 and learnt to tie my own neck tie at 4.

I was anywhere from 10 to 12. I'd had zero interaction with a bike...hadn't even seen someone ride it in front of me before. After a few months, I was able to conquer that little bit of fear about keeping both feet on the pedals.

I was 5, my brother was 7, my cousins were 4 and 5.. so anywhere from 4-7 is probably fine..

There is a bike called a balance bike, which children use isntead of training wheels. This way they never actually need training wheels, after a while of using the balance bike, they can go straight onto a 'big kid' bike. My nieces and nephews used them and thought they were great fun! Heres a link:

i was 7 when i got a big girl bike. before that i always had a trike. my daughter rode a 2 wheeler with training wheels till about 4 or 5 before removing them.

and it was when my mom was on her honeymoon with my stepdad.

so i went to stay with my real dad and he taught me what 4 leaf clovers are, how to ride a bike, how to feed a baby. how to make coffee, how to play cards, and what j-walking is.

lmao. my mom never taught me that stuff and my dad was surprised. i was with himf or a whole 9 days and he taught me alot.

OH and my stepbrother is 16. he just turned 16 and he never learned until his friends taught him like a month ago hahaa.

and my half brother was 3-4
