  1. I have 2 little boys and they were both about 12 months old x

  2. My daughter started walking around 10 months. All babies are different so it depends on your own child. But, it's usually around 12 months on the average baby to start walking. The more you work with them, the quicker they'll  learn to walk. I'm actually working with my granddaughter now. She's 9 months old  and is walking around holding on to things. She's about ready. Also a good pair of walking shoes. Such a stride rite. Good Luck!!

  3. mine was about 11mths but it has been known 4them 2start walkin earlier depends how forward they are x

  4. 14 months old and now he's all over the place, won't sit still, loves to explore, wow what a handful.

  10. 10 months old

  11. daughter - 14 mths, daughter 22 mths, son 13 mths, daughter 11mths but not walking yet.

  12. 15 months but he was 2 months prem

  13. Mine were both later than average (which is 12 months).  My daughter was 15 months and my son was 16 months.  Believe me, you wouldn't know it now!

Boys are often later than girls, my daughter was lazy though and preferred to crawl.  Oddly my son never crawled.  Neither of them are struggling at school and are now up to speed with co-ordination.

  14. I'm not sure with my first but my second started cruising at 8 months and walking on her own by 10 months.

  15. My daughter is 14 months and is still not walking.  Can't wait until she does though.  She is cruising and can get up and stand by herself without having to use anything but just doesn't have the confidence to take those steps.

  16. 12 months, 16 months, 15 months

  17. Around 10 months cruising, 11 months doing a few steps, then fully walking by her 1st birthday

  18. 3 of my 5 kids were 2 years or almost 2 years when they started walking!!! I guess they got there in the end!!!

  19. Hi my nephew started at 15 months (on christmas day!)

    (:

  20. 9 1/2 months.  very early!

  21. My first was 15 months, second was 10 months, and third was 7.5 months.  15 months was better.  The problem with the early walkers was that they didn't walk very well.  Their heads would get pretty far in front of them, and then their feet would be working double time to catch up.  The second one walked around with a bruise on her forehead for two months.

The third has autism and has always shown abnormally high levels of balance and strength, so don't use him for any kind of comparison.

The second one is 17 now and doesn't show any ill effects from frequently bumping her noggin.  At least no more than any other teenager.

The point is, they're all, if all goes normally, going to be walking into kindergarten and the age they took their fist steps, early or late, won't matter at all.

  22. 10 months old.

I know a baby that walked at 8 1/2 months and another baby at 18 months.

  23. My daughter took her very first steps 12 days after her first birthday, and was walking well within a month.

My son took his first steps at 13 months, actually walking like he already knew how.  Though he knew how to walk, he really didn't care to walk on a regular basis until 15 months  :)
