I was 30 years old. Three kids... no money. Those dang paternity tests I tell ya... I rue the day those guys discovered how to read DNA... lol!

Actually that vasectomy was 16 years ago and I'm still married ... like 22 years has to be some kind of record for any guy like me... lol.

I try... sometimes I think my fly just pops undone. What's a guy to do.

In March of '77, I was 30.  I had 2 sons.  We didn't want any more children, and it was only $200 for me, in and out.  It would have been a lot more for my wife and those days it was a long stay in the hospital.

Funny thing, I put in for it through the Navy in January of '77 and in February I went to a urologist for the interview.  Thirty days later (Va law at the time made us wait 30 days) I was clipped and 30 days later I was certified.  s*x life only got better.  I had it done on a Friday morning, laid around the rest of the day with an ice pack between my legs.  Saturday went to my in-laws for a cook out.  Sunday laid around.  Went back to my mostly desk job at the Naval Air Station on Monday.   My chief was surprised (he had had a bit of pain when he had his) and sent me home at lunch.  

Then in October of 77, the Navy called me and said I had an appointment for my INTERVIEW mid-October.  I told them to never mind, I'd already done it.

I was 27. Married with one son and 2 step kids. Best decision I ever made. Other than getting married and having kids.

I was 35 when i got cut.I had 2 kids at the time and really did not want to have anymore.I am now 42,divorced and paying out the *** in child support. I am glad that i made the decision to have the vasectomy

i never had 1 and i,am not about to either. i have a friend that had it done because every girl said he got her pregnant, so he said i,ll fix them, so he did.

I have asked this question twice.  Both times it got deleted.  I suspect that some parent who dislikes child free people complained.  The "staff" sides with them.

Anyway, I had mine when I was 21.  I know a few other men that had them in their early to mid 20's.  I never had children.  I had it because I really don't like children all that much.  My spouse, at the time, did not agree, and we divorced.

I am now 42.  It was the best choice I ever made.

I tried at 21. Was told no because I had no children. Said I could with no kids after 28 and a psyc eval. 3 more years to freedom!!!

I just got tired of girls telling me they were pregnant to keep me around. And just never really wanted kids...

Had a friend lie at 21 and said he had two kids and was married. Dr did it on the spot with out verifying. Wish I woulda known it was that easy!!!

19...no children... and I didn't want to have any kids...so that worked out well!  ...and no, I don't have any regrets either

Thirty five with one boy and one girl.  Its easier for a guy to be snipped than for his partner to have a tubal.  No regrets about it.

I had one when I was 24. That was last October. I have no children. I was following the example of a friend. I just plain don't want kids.
