  1. To hold a licence 17yrs & 6 mths, to drive any age really as long as it's not on public highway

  2. 17, but you will probably be banned by the traffic taliban by 17 and one day.

  3. U can start at 16 but 17 to go in for test.

  4. u can do ur theory test at 17, u have to be 18 to drive.

  5. 18yo

  6. i think from october they are changing the driving age limit to 18

  7. I am afraid to say you do have to be 18 now. Since march this year they have changed it so you can no longer take your test till your 18. However, you can learn at 17. my advice is to learn as soon as you hit 17, as i am 19 and learning right now but it's a pain because it's getting in the way of more important things like studies, etc. plus i am still relying on other people to drive me everywhere.

  8. 17 can start driving lessons. you need provisional license first. which costs about £50.

  9. I thought the age went up to 18 if you were born after 1988, thats what i remember from a few years back, whether it has gone ahead i am unsure, sorry!

  10. 17, the age is NOT changing. Unless you are disabled, in which case you could drive at 16.

  11. 17 is the driving age ON english roads but if you live on a "sink estate" any age you choose, also you can drive at any age on private land !.

  12. At the moment its still 17. However they have been threatning for a while to say that you learn at 17 but can only take your test at 18. Or something along those lines.

  13. when ur 17

  14. well atm its 17

but they are talking about increasing it to 18 i think maybe even older
