  1. Whenever you can determine who you are attracted to. So some time during puberty.

It varies from person to person exactly when this happens.

  2. Me.  It was at 11.  I knew that I liked other girls back then.

  3. Your not g*y....get over it

  4. well im 16 and i just told everyone i was bi about 3 months ago.

i knew i was since i was like 11 or 12 but i just waited to tell my friends and family so they didnt think i was a phase or i was confused cause i was so young.

  5. You're old enough to realize whether boys or girls give you energy...make your eyes bright and your heart race.  You're old enough to know who you would rather kiss and hold and snuggle with.  You're old enough to know whom you fall in love with, for real.  You're old enough to know whom you notice when you look into a crowd, immediately, instinctively.  You're old enough to know who you fantasize about when you **** off.  You're old enough to realize who gives you passion, girls or boys.

In your case, you know by now if boys do it for you -- and if you'd rather hold a boy and be held by a boy the rest of your life.

Even when I was eight years old, looking back, I should have realized.  My innocent third-grade teacher showed us "Romeo and Juliet" by Zefirelli, the 1968 version with Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey; she didn't realize it had a nude scene in it.  Well, my breath was immediately taken away by Romeo -- and when the nude scene came along, the other boys were oggling over Juliet's b*****s whereas I, on the contrary, was spellbound by Romeo's backside, lol.

At that same age I absolutely adored the boy who sat in the next row.  I thought he was the most beautiful person I had ever seen.

So unless there is evidence to the contrary -- a strong, stirring urge in you to fall in love with a girl -- I'd say you are quite safe, at this point, realizing that you are g*y.

If you fall in love with other boys at age 15 and 16, you are g*y.  And that is good!  Be the most loving, faithful, quality person you can -- and I hope you meet an equally wonderful boy who will love you with his whole heart.

  6. Everyone is different so you can't really say.

I knew i was bisexual by the time i was 12.

    17 now.

  7. 15 or 16 would be about the age you know for sure. By the way, you can't have "been g*y" for a year, since g*y people are born g*y. DUH

  8. i never really made a conscious decision... i just always liked both girls and guys.. i dont know how it is for every one else.... i just always was bi... it wasn't anything based on age or when it was appropriate..

  9. People realize it at different times. Some people know when they are 10 but other's don't realize till they are married and in their 30's.

  10. 13

  11. i was 12 and i saw a guy who was definitely g*y and i like fell in love.

  12. as soon as puberty starts really, so 10-11.

  13. How do you know? only you will know what age is good for you if you know that you do not like gril and you do not care about seeing gril with most of there cloths off and it turns you no when you see boy that are hot and you start to get a hard on from looking at them and only looking a boys does this for you then what ever age you are is right for you.

  14. Some people know at quite an early age.  For others it takes much longer

However, sexuality is many people is fluid, and can (and does) change during puberty.  That's why children under 16 should not have any pressure put upon them to pidgeon-hole themselves into any sexuality.

When you get to about 18-20 you're a little more stable, integrated and rational.

But of course, there are always exceptions

  15. I don't think age should determine your decision- there are people who believe they're hetro and marry, have children, and then decide in their 30s, 40s, 50s, etc. I believe you should decide whenever you're confident and comfortable that you're making the right decision. Think with your heart and your mind and I believe you'll be just fine.

  16. I would say that there is not perfect age, as much as some adults would like. I know people who knew when they were 10. its hard to imagine but when you know, you know, or rather, when you accept it, you accept it.

  17. You'll know as soon as boys/girls become a part of your life.

  18. I would say there really isn't a decision involved its just there and you know it without really putting thought into it.  I don't think there is an age.  Some people know before puberty.

  19. Well, I don't think "decision" is really the appropriate word.  It's not really something you decide to take on, like a hobby or a religion.

But as to when you adopt the label, that would depend on your circumstances.  It's too bad society puts so much pressure on us all to label ourselves in the first place.

  20. once the balls drop.

  21. Some people know for sure young, but often it changes as you enter adult hood. My moms cousin was straight all through her highschool years and then became a L*****n in her mid twenties...

  22. When you can understand s*x and your sexual well-being. An 11-year-old doesn't get it. They just started puberty. When one can understand s*x probably and can properly explain their s*x feelings, then they know their sexuality.

  23. I knew for sure when I was about 11,but everyone's different.Only you know how you feel. You don't have to 'decide' that you're g*y-that implies that you have a choice in the matter. It's just something you know.

  24. Hey, Dude I was 18 years old before I even thought about having s*x.

  25. Well I personally don't believe there is a specific age for you to find out your true sexual orientation or preference.

It really depends on your maturity level, and how well you know yourself.

I came out of the closet at thirteen, my friend, who is now twenty three, just came out because he did not realize up until now.

  26. If you're even thinking about your own sexuality then you should be old enough realize what you are.

  27. I knew when I learned the word when I was 11, was various amounts of 'more conviced' right up untill I was 14.  Then I was definite.  I can look back as far as 7,8,9 and see evidene too.

Some people don't realise untill they are much older.

If you feel that it is something that you can't ignore then it is so.
