To be considered a woman. My teacher was asking me if I had a nickname, and I said no. Then he said 'I'm sure you, is it Lourdes McCandywoman.' And I was thinking to myself, 'I'm just a kid.' I'm only 14 but still I find that strange the way he said it.

Are you a considered a woman if you get your period or if you're over 18. Because I have my period and that will be f*cked up if he knew I had my period. Sorry for asking but still... :)

  1. I think your an "adult" when your mature and probably 18. But starting your period is ment 2 make u a woman cos uv finished puberty, u may not be mature and 18 or 21, but  your kinda a woman i suppose, it depends on your opinion.

  2. You're teacher sounds weird ...

but I think when you get your period you're considered a woman ...

  3. i agree with forever love!

  4. Did it ever occur that he was kidding around?

  5. hi dear,

have we met someday in the past.

  6. Your teacher sounds like a creep.

  7. Well, the government and law sees you as a legal adult when you're 18. However, some families and cultures consider a child turning into a woman when she does have her first period.

In all honesty though, I don't see how this question relates to your teacher. If you took it as him saying it in a nasty way, maybe you misread the situation. Lourdes McCandywoman sounds like a nickname given to a child, not a "woman". He may have been implying it as a joke.
