How old you need to be to ride a motorcycle in arkansas?

i wanted to get a motor cycle for my son but i wanted to know how old u needed to be

I can't answer your question but I might suggest something that for some reason many people might disagree but here it is.                     I would suggest buying something bigger than a 250 becuase I did the same thing for myself and it was a real waste of money because after only a few days I was already use to riding a motorcycle and I was ready for something bigger. To me it's really dumb to get a 250 becuase it's safer . Anyone can kill themselves easly with any size motorcycle. And not only that a 250 can't keep up with highway traffic and it's not safe at all to be on the highway with big tractor trailers and cars passing you like your a hitchiker. I would buy something with atleast 500cc and if your buying something for your son or daughter then avoid "crotch rockets" and sport bikes. the insurance is pretty high on them for young people and not only that young sport bike owners are far more likley to wreck than those who own cruisers

to be on the safe side here 18 would be a good age to ride one.

14 yrs old but no bigger than a 250cc bike.   16 yrs old unlimited size engine.   Must have motorcycle license though for 14 +  obviously lol...
