How ols were you when you stopped sucking your thumb?

I was 12. When I see a kid sucking their thumb at the store and they take it out because they get embarrased I always say to them. "I think sucking your thumb is cool!" LOL! Comments?

i dont think i ever really sucked my thumb.

its makes the finger wrinkly and wet and just yuck. gross.

cuz you know your finger aint always clean.

Thats really bad for your thumb and skin and mouth. Your teeth and mouth must be sore from it and it results in a bad mouth most of the time. Don't encourage anyone. Its disgusting to get your saliva on other peoples things. Ew. I think I stopped when I was 3?

I was 6, although I probably would have stopped much sooner if my parents hadn't smoked..that was back in the 80s when no one thought of that stuff, and they would smoke in the house, car, etc, and I hated the smell, so I would smell my blanket that I carried, and since my thumb was there..I would suck it. I probably would have stopped carrying the blankie much sooner too not that I think about it.

hahahaaha i was 6. my mom always told me i could suck my thumb off, and thats what made me stop.

i was twelve too. but i only did it home...& only my family knew. but they still made fun of me alllllll the time. hahah its soooo hard to stop but come on, in stores. i had to get this thing put in my mouth so it was impossibe for me to suck it. basically, sucking your thumb sucks. but it was so comfurting...
