How on earth are you supposed to put contact lenses in? Help?

where do you look when you do it...up, down, straigh into it? I am really struggling :-(

i look up, then put the lense straight onto the middle of the eye and slide it up whilest looking straight, you may get air bubble so just blink afew times. if you have lenses for astigmatism you should make sure you have the thicker slide of the lense at the bottom. and if your using normal lenses you should check to make sure their not inside out. other than that just make sure you wash your hands.

try watching a video on youtube.

for me, i take my right one out of the case and rinse it off. then you make sure it is not inside out (you can tell if the edges are flipped downward slightly) and put it gently onto the tip of your finger. make sure your finger is clean and dry, otherwise it won't stick. look upward and pull your bottom eyelid down. firmly but gently press the lens to the white part of your eye, under the iris, the big space that you made because you are looking upward. now, still pressing (but not too hard!) slide the lens up to your iris until it covers it. this should lock it. press around to get rid of any airbubbles. keep trying, and find out how it works best for your eye.

to take them out:

pull your bottom eyelid down again and look up. with a clean, dry finger, slide the lens away from your irisand when it is on the white of your eye, pinch it so it folds on half. once it is in half in your hand, rinse it and rub it open into a full circle. NEVER pull it or it will tear.

store in the case.

you have to trust yourself not to blink. i got my contacts in may and now i'm a pro at taking them in and out, and i can touch my eye ll around. it just takes practice and dedication.

Place the contact lens on the tip of your index or middle finger. With the fingers and thumb of your other hand, simultaneously pull up on your upper eyelid and down on your lower eyelid.Position the lens on your eye while looking upward or forward. If I were just starting, I would tip my head straight back, make sure my lens is not inside out, put it on the tip of my index finger on my right hand and use my middle finger to pull the lower skin down and use my index on my other hand to pull the top skin up and enter it straight onto your eye. Once it is on, slowly begin blinking so it forms on nice and tight. I've been wearing them for 5 years so method is a little simpler but that should do the trick.
