How one should pay for a brand new 2007 Shadow Aero?

I read in one of the post that new 2007 Honda Shadow Aero is offered by dealers for $5499. Is this on the road price? or price before they put doc fee and tax and all other mumbo jumbo? How much one should expect to pay for it?

You could expect to spend $6000 on it, thats if you buy it out right with cash. I wouldnt put it on a loan, you'll be sorry, if you do get a loan on it, go through a bank, not the dealership. Dealership loans suck man, their like credit cards, high interest and if you dont pay more than the minimum, your balance will almost rise up, causing a bunch of c**p for you. I found this out the hard way, spent like $150 a month on a bike, then after about a year I notice that the balance went down like $600!!!!

Buy it out right or go through a real bank. But to get the bike out of the dealership would probably cost like a total of about six grand. Maybe $6500 actually, forgot they not only tax it, they have to pay to put it in your name, get it registered, tagged, etc. But hey, Honda is a d**n good bike man.
