  1. Soap, water and a toothbrush will clean them.

  2. Soak the blades for a few minutes in a bucket of warm water with a mild liquid soap to loosen the dirt in the groves.  Use a soft brissle brush to clean the groves.  Dry them with a soft cloth.  For the grips just use a slightly dampened cloth.    The most important thing is to get the groves clean of dirt.  Plugged groves will affect ball flight so you also need to have a golf towel when you're playing so that you can wipe the dirt off before it has a chance to harden.  The cleanliness of the grips are as much a matter of personal preference.  Some people never clean the grips because they prefer them to be a little sticky aiding in holding the club.

  3. wd 40 ,water ,soap, a tooth brusch and scrup

  4. What ever you do, do not use WD 40.

    It will eventually ruin them.

Don't use a wire brush either.

I clean my clubs after every time i go out and i use the original dawn blue soap with a toothbrush in a bucket of the warmest water from your faucet.  With the warm water it helps the dirt and grass just come off that much easier.  But be careful, don't use water that your hand couldn't be in.  If it's that hot, it might make paint melt or something.

But any hand soap or anything like that will do.  The best I have used is Murphey's Oil Soap.

    Good Luck

  5. dont use A toothbrush it wont get into the grids well and will leave lots of dirt wich causes the ball to loose spin that can be very valuble

    and soap is not needed

the best way to clean them is to put them under the tap or just in a bucket of water and buy a 5 dolllar tough bruch at the golf store then just wipe the club with that and it will look as good as new

( no offence to the person who said use a toothbrush)

  6. I would use WD-40 and a soft brush, the reson for the WD-40 is that it will help maintain the club finish, yet it will take off all the dirt and maybe even get into the rust that might be there..do not forget to get new grips put on the clubs..they usually cost about $5-8 per club...it is important to do that, you can wash them with a mild soap and then they might be tacky enough, but not usually..
