How ot build a bin cage?

Question

i want to build a bin cage for my hamster because the cage she has now is broken and she escaped from it. i taped it but its a temporary fix. i bought a tote and i have screen to put on the top. now i dont know what to do...

i also would like to know how to put a door in it. i know you can break off the door fro the crittertrail and put it on the bin. but i dont know how?

also any recomendations on how to put a 2nd floor in it?
