  1. OTB stands for "off track betting."  Basically it takes the experience of being at the horse track and betting to indoor facilities where betting is allowed and televisions monitor the races.  You can place a majority of the same bets from the racetrack at an OTB.  You also have the option to bet on all other races taken place across live tracks

  2. If you are interested in a technical answer, all the bets are transmitted via a phone line ensuring every bet placed at Rosecroft  Raceway in Fort Washington, MD shows up  in the pool for the third race at Belmont Park.

  3. FOR HORSE PLAYERS THAT CAN'T MAKE IT TO THE TRACK OFF TRACK BETTING SITES WERE PUT IN PLACE, SO THEY COULD STILL GET THERE BETS IN, WITHOUT PLACING THE BETS WITH AN ILLEGAL BOOKIE. NEW YORK HAS HAD THIS IN PLACE FOR MANY YEARS, CALIFORNIA MAYBE AROUND 10 YEARS NOW......BUT I PLAY AT HOME ON T.V.G. COM...YOUR FIRST $50.00 COMES BACK TO YOU, WIN OR LOSE...CHECK IT OUT
