How painful, exactly, is a lower stomache/hip tattoo?

I was thinkin about getting a tattoo on like my lower stomache, not under my belly button but off to the side. Like right below the pant line. And i was wondering how bad the pain was. Im not really good with pain but i think i could take some. I really want one. But if the pain is too bad i wouldn't dare.

if you cant take pain very well it prolly will hurt for a lil while....good luck

depend on how much "flesh" you have in that area.

it hurts pretty bad directly over thee bone areas!

i have one on each side in that spot (right next to my hip bone). anyone that says that that region doesn't hurt is lying to you. i have low pain tolerance but i was able to get through it. each one took an hour, so it wasn't too bad.

also your body type will affect how much it hurts. the more cushion you have the less pain you're going to experience. the most painful spots are those that have the bone close to the skin.

be prepared for it, and don't forget to breathe. if you hold your breathe or clench your ab muscles you're just gonna make it hurt worse. just ride it out and keep thinking about how beautiful your new art will be.

anything on a bone hurts pretty bad. if it is a fleshy area it isn't that bad. also remember if you ever get pregnant tattoos stretch.

I have on right on my lower stomach and hip.

It felt like vibrating through my hip when it was right on the bone it wasnt to painful just anoying and it hurt a bit more on the lower stomach where the skin is more thin.

i dont know if you know what pain is for me getting inked is a pleasure and enjoyment to most its a want to thing to me its like the american express card every1 needs 1 or 2 or 3....and when some1 asks does it hurt thats bout like asking some1 a trick ? i think it feels great i hate it after its done myself i guess i love pain if thats what you call it
