I am getting my teeth whitened and the dentist is going to give me some bleaching trays. I originally wanted to do this because my braces left my teeth yellow. How painful was it? Can you please describe it?

  1. Well it all depends on the percentages. The higher the percentage of hydro peroxide then the more sensitivity can occur. But its not painful. If it does cause tooth sensitivity then it might be sensitive with air like when you breath with your mouth open. And might be sensitive with cold water and when you eat but its not unbearable pain.

  2. I have bleaching trays for my teeth. They were custom made for my mouth. It doesn't hurt when you use them. They are fitted to your mouth and suction onto your teeth with the gel. It works quite well. Sometimes when I have had them on for a long time my teeth will feel a little weird after taking them off but it doesn't hurt.
