Im only 16.. a few months ago i had 2 UTIs basically right after eachother. I went on antibiotics for both from a walk in clinic. My urine is often cloudy and dark, but not 100% all the time. I also dont drink a lot of water..

an hour or so ago i had a pain in my lower right back, kind of like a sharp pain that popped and faded after about half a minute. My back does feel strained often, but i have horrible sitting posture at the computer. its very confusing.

today i had chills that kept coming and going,

do you think i should see a doctor about a possible kidney infection? or should I wait a few more days to see what happens. it doesnt hurt to urinate. sometimes it feels a bit funny, but never the pain I had from my UTI experiences.

  1. See a Doctor asap tomorrow!  Kidney infections can just gallop!  You really need to learn to drink more water; force yourself.

  2. The pain is BAD. You do not want a kidney infection because it will make you very sick and it's a good thing you got your UTI's cleared because if you didn't, then the infection would've traveled to your kidneys.

Your kidneys are located in the middle of the sides of your back, with the lower and upper parts of your back being muscle. So, you need not to worry and since the pain goes away it's ok. If you do decide to go to the doctor (maybe you don't believe me), you'll just be pointing to the area that hurts and your doctor will be able to tell you if it's anything serious.

But it's not. I get muscle pain in my back at times and it's because of my posture at the computer.
