How pathetic is the ACC?

Clemson is supposed to be the best team in the ACC and they're getting manhandled by Alabama 20-3 right now in the 2nd qtr. Alabama is like the 5th best team in the SEC and they're playing 12 freshmen.

Virginia Tech lost 22-27

Virginia lost 7-52

UNC is tied with MCNEESE ST!!! 14-14 3rd qtr

Duke is tied 7-7 with James Madison... But being tied with someone is considered a victory for Duke.

Didn't this conference used to be decent? They an embarrassment now, agreed?

SEC is 5-0 today, winning 4 of 5 games right now.. So could end the day 9-1 in week 1.

Yes, ACC  is terrible in football this so far (week 1).  I guess we will wait until basketball season to start talking about how much the SEC sucks.  Meanwhile you dawg fans won't be 1 for long -- you'll lose to the gators again this year.  LOL

The ACC has been an overrated conference for a long time. Ever since they got Va Tech, and Miami.. that was supposed to put them over the top and run with the SEC as the best conference. I go to ECU, and we here at ECU felt that we had a really good chance against the Va Tech team. They lost all their defense, and Beamer is getting weak on recruiting. And since when can UNC football be brought into a conversation about football? They have been terrible for the past 10 years. Duke is a joke. Virginia is a lost program. Florida State needs to get rid of bowden. Miami has so many player problems, its like the ACC goes out and gets the degenerates from schools. Look at the Vick Brothers what conference did they play in? ACC! Clemson is prob the most overrated team in the top 25. How are they 9? Because of 2 running backs that are dominant? This conference never really was a powerhouse except when Florida state was good in the 90's. The Big East used to be the best, Miami and Va Tech were dominant when they were still with the big east.

acc isn't the worst overall conference, just the worst bcs conference of the six.  sec is the best overall conference.

clemson was a disappointment, va tech was a huge disappointment, virginia was playing bad vs usc, but give them a chance.
