How permanent is P-tex?

I'm repairing some gouges on my rome agent and was wondering how good/long lasting a proper repair with p-tex candles would be. thanks

On powder, it'll last a long time.  On jibbing/park and rough riding like ice, frozen chunks, rocks, etc. will be worn down pretty fast.

If it is done correctly, it is permanent.  Be sure to clean the base off with base cleaner to get rid of the wax.  P-tex won't stick if there is wax on the board.

It all depends on the surface your riding.

On Dry slopes, P-tex doesn't last long....

But on snow, if its done right, then it will last a long time
