  1. I think they would just stand with their mouths open . . . for a looooooooong time!  Then the conversation would be something like

    "Uh . . . "

    "I know . . ."

    "What . . .?"

    "No clue."

    "Hmmmmm. . . "

    "Uh huh."

    "But . . .  "

    "I agree . . ."

  2. I don't think they would be happy with war profiteering, and dishonest politicans (they'd be upset!) I also think they would find it amusing that "The Pledge of Allegence" was written by a communist in the 1930's!

Also, I think they would explain that our nation was NOT founded upon Christianity.

I think they would like the progress made in rights for women and minorities...we still have a long way to go!

  3. They would be outragous that price gases are so high, go back to old fashion horses.

  4. They would get on the boat  back to England

  5. Thomas Jefferson would vote to disband Congress.

  6. They would lead a new revolution.

  7. They certainly would be shocked and disappointed at how the "Bill of Rights" has been torn into such shambles.  There  are too many individuals and companies that have little if any respect for the real intent of these rights.  There has been a serious decay for the respect of others.  There is even a greater decay of morals in this country.

    Larry / Chicago Bears 20

  8. they would probably whip obama

  9. They would be peeved. our freedoms being compromised by the government and trying to remove christianity from public places when it was on the foundations of jesus christ they molded our constitution.

  10. they would go back b/c they were ashamed of how the gov  has messed up alot

  11. Extemely. Bush would probalbly be locked up.  But then we have a govenment that has lost sight of what it was intended to do, or they just disregard the laws and  do as they please

  12. probably pretty pissed.  we are stuck in a two party system run by corporate fat-cats that are more interested in lining their pockets.  when someone comes along that wants to make a difference, like Ron Paul, they are shunned.  other parties such as the Libertarian party are not allowed to debate.

  13. They would be pretty hot considering this country was founded by a bunch of liberals like Thomas Jefferson.

We fought the British to establish our own country based on these ideals.

Liberalism holds that the freedom of the individual is scared.  It is probably close to time to revolt again to protect this freedom from the conservatives that have undermined it.

  14. How could they not be disappointed?  Still, some of it worked out.  They would be stoked by the economic development--the roads, the cities, the railroads, the industries, the fact that the US won two huge world wars and saved human decency both times.  But I think they would be especially disappointed with the generations that put Ronald Reagan and GW Bush in office because they destroyed everything previous generations built.  This country was not established so that the government could hold people without trial and torture them, or just to help wealthy Texas parasites steal from the people.  They would not like victimless crimes, they would not like the country having the hugest prison population in the entire world.  They would not like a "free press" that wastes its time on Paris Hilton's latest eye shadow when evil people are plotting groundless wars.  Or freedom of religion wasted on TV evangelists only in it for the money they can steal from gullible viewers.

  15. Pretty pissed at us for having allowed it, I suspect.

Ron Paul 2008 - or as close as I can vote and have it counted.

  16. The worst thing they would be angry about is the 12-20 million illegals

  17. They would be glad that their offspring had progressed from factory working Irish immigrants to upper middle class Americans who don't have to worry about starving.

  18. they'd be asking:

"Didn't they read the Constitution? "

  19. They would grab the liberals and personally throw them over the border.

  20. Not at all (well aside from the war) I think they'd be upset in the little control we have over our society. I'm not talking about our "freedom".

I mean about Americans going haywire killing each on the streets, drug dealing, etc...
