  1. Scores.

  2. There are tons and tons, but the reason we really can't detect them often is because they don't omit light. In the sky it is not hard to find a star because it omits light, but planets don't. Last time i heard, we had only found like 232 planets.

  3. You probably mean how many plants are in the galaxy.

And I'll further assume you're asking how many different plant species there are in the galaxy.

It will be hundreds, possibly thousands of years before we know the answer to that.

Theres thousands here on Earth, It would be safe to guess millions in the galaxy.

  4. I hope you mean PLANETS  (big spherical rock formations which circle stars) as opposed to PLANTS which are living organisms that obtain food through photosynthesis.

Inquiring minds want to know but you arent going to find out.  We have no idea how many stars there are in the galaxy.  There are far too many to count and estimates vary by a few hundred billion.  Most estimates are based on mass, and currently mass predictions are rather chancy due to the existence or nonexistence of dark matter.

I suggest you use Carl Sagan's "billions and billions" number and leave it at that.  You aren't going to get a correct number so a common literary phrase should do quite well.  Repeat after me: " Billions and Billions"

  5. So far no one has found another inhabitable planet like ours in what i call the green zone . However for grain of sand on this earth there are more stars in the universe. That means if the stars are like our sun you can only imagine how many planets there are more than anyone could ever explore even if we had the means to . So by theory it is very possible that theres all kind of forms of life including plants ,organisms ,and maybe inteligent life we may never know . this can not be proven or disproven . something to think about

  6. trillions

  7. Nobody knows for sure but we can estimate it.

There are at the very least 100 billion (100,000,000,000) stars in the Milky Way. If each of those stars had a solar system the same as ours (small solar system) with 8 planets -Pluto isn't a planet. Then the estimate would be at about 800,000,000,000 planets, but this is not an exact answer.

  8. Nobody knows for sure, and it is probably going to be that nobody will ever know know the exact number.  The Milky Way galaxy, our galaxy, is 100 million light years across and that covers a lot of space.  Unless we can explore ever single corner of the galaxy with probes or by human exploration someday, we might never know for sure.  However based on the number of extra solar planets that we have found it is quite possible that there are hundreds of thousands of planets in the galaxy, maybe more.
