How powerful is kelly pavlik?

Kelly pavlik is 33-0 with 29 KO's brutal ko's over Jermain Taylor and Edison Miranda, he showed his right hand is the most dominant punch in the middleweight division. But is he a harder puncher than Marvin Hagler, Trinidad in his prime, tommy hearns at middleweight, i no its early to make a comparison like that but does he have the potential to be the hardest punching middleweight ever, bob arum says he is the hardest puncher he ever seen, do you agree?

ask taylor.kelly is a determined fighter we are from the same place.he may not be fancy but he is consistant! he will beat trinidad if they fight by ko in the 4th. taylor did not try to beat him he had to beat him off no he's not the hardest punching 160lb. it's to early and there are to many to name.

That's a good question and I really hadn't seen him prior to his last 4 fights but in watching him he's got some serious power, I'm not sure if I'd put him in those classes but I do think he's a harder puncher than Trinidad

When he punched jermain taylor in the first fight, it shook his whole body like a wave crossing down his chest. But Pavlik is not a puncher who knocks people down with one punch like the way Tyson did in one round. He's a fighter that breaks you down by going forward and throwing punches in many angles. He has a good chin and he throws accurate combinations with good leverage, it's no wonder he knocks people down.

Though you could make some arguement on who is the harder puncher between Pavlik and Hagler, it's really not fair to say, because of the era and opposition of both men. Now, I will say that I believe Pavlik is a harder hitter than Trinidad, because he's not a natural middleweight. I'm not quite sold on him being the hardest puncher ever in that division, yet. He very well could be, but I'm not going to make that claim just yet.
