How proud....are you....?

Americans do you still remember My Lai....done in the American vain...how long will it be before it all comes out about Iraq...done in the american vain

I am always proud, and as far as My lai is concerned I also remember Hue where over 5000 were killed by the people liberals call the "forces of Liberation".

I'm not proud of this counrty or of what it's done to the rest of the world. We've taken natural resources till they're bleeding dry, caused destruction of the rain forest, cause almost 80% of the worlds pollution, started wars, imprisoned innocent people, bombed undeserving countries, and we can still hold our heads high while all this is going on and say "Why should we care? We're American." That's the exact type of arrogance that makes this country hated by all others. We'll sit and complain about school lunches while the kids in Africa would kill to have that luxury. We're lazy and we dont care about anything but ourselves, and thats not right. I would be proud to be Japanese. They do everything right, and they contribute close to no pollution and destruction in this world. Will we high headed americans ever figure it out? Probably not. The hole in the ozone layer  was in fact created by the NASA rocket into space and it only gets worse. Our fascination in what is yet to be discovered has contributed to our neglection of our home planet. We'll never be satisfied because our greedy eyes will always see something better. The american attitude is "Hey, I've polluted this planet...Oh well lets just go to another one and do the same thing there." We kill animals for no reason and build uneeded homes. This country will never be right. And did you know that NASA is going to ram the moon JUST to see if theres WATER inside? all they'll get is a blood red moon and rising tides. Nice job NASA. Science is our destruction. We have to become awakened to our neglection soon and start to make a difference. People never listen to us kids and its the adults making everything worse for us. I say put up flyers to help the animals. Protest the rain forest being cut down. Let the Indians out of the reservations, theyre not animals, theyre human. Start recycling, clear the landfills. Get rid of money, and trade services and old items, money is only a waste of trees. Walk and ride bikes instead of a car. Once America wakes up and listens to these ideas of mine, and helps contribute to the salvation of our mother earth, maybe then I'll be proud to be an American.

Americans should not be apoligetic...because its a natural tendencies.. when you have a power, use it to best of yourselves... Being proud for all Good reason is a natural tendencies... Please frame question in right spirit..Like... Americans has polluted world for their own benefit...

I'd rather be an american than any other country in the world.... Theres so much things that America has created but were still hated for really no reason... or if there is a reason than im pretty sure we've done more good things than bad.....
