  1. 4-15, thats a lot of babies :)

Make sure you don;t touch the pups when their still with mom, also make sure she gets extra protein in her diet, try feeding her some boiled or scrambled egg to supplement protein.

Good luck with mom and the babies :)

  2. 6 through 10 i have to say i am getting my dwarf hamster monday!!

  3. 4-6 pups per litter

    good luck

  4. Dwarf hamsters tend towards litters of 4-10.  i know becuase i have owned dwarfs for seven years and they have had litters.  it depends on the age.  older hamsters (1 and up) usually have small litters of 4-6.  younger hamster usually have litters of 6-10.

  5. My Winter White female just gave birth about 5 days ago. I have pictures at the site below.

Normal litter size is 4 to 8. Mine had 5 pups total.

They gestate quickly...from the time she was impregnated to the time she gave birth was only 2 weeks. Females go into heat and are sexually fertile every four days.

They reach sexual maturity at between 1 month and 2 months old...so you need to separate the males out right after they are weaned (3 weeks). Females can remain with the mother indefinitely if you want.

The mother needs to be left alone as much as possible the first two weeks after birth. Definitely avoid touching the pups...if she smells you on them or if she is too stressed, she will panic and kill (and probably eat) them. Do not clean the cage again until they are weaned.

  6. 4-15 pups is about right.
