How do you get your Avatar so that it shows you hole body and you pets?

ok first, you go to your avatar, then in the box surrounding your avatars head, you will see an arrow shaped like a sideways U. Click on that and it will show your avatars complete body :-)

here : http://avatars.yahoo.com/ and right down the photo with the avatar you have pan and zoom and from there you change the size of your avatar. and don't forget to save your changes.
