How quick can you run a mile?

I ran an open mile in 5:57but I ran an 11:33 2 mile with a 5:35 split once. and I am mainly a 100 meter hurdler so I can't complain.

I'm primarily a sprinter/middle-distance ranging anywhere from running a 55m to 400m (outdoor + indoor) but my best mile time is a 5:58

i usually don't time myself...but one of the times that i did time myself...it was 7:28

the best guy on my track team has a mile just under 5 minutes.

My PR (Personal Record) is 5:28 for a mile.  My average, though, is a few seconds higher, closer to 5:30 or 5:32.

7:14... I'm terrible at the mile. After that mile, my coach never put me in a mile race again. Ahaha.  I need a lot more practice.

My friend ran his mile at 4:18 in his sophomore year of high-school.

like 430 probably..... i run about 4.10 1500m. but im only 17 and i run 800 and 400.. not the mile...... friends of mine run 4.00 for 1500. so about 4.15/20 mile

The record is somewhere in the low 3 minute range, but i can run a 5:08.  Im a sprinter though.  Im also an eight grade girl so im not really that fast at distance.

I would love to be able to WALK a mile. I`m disabled and use crutches, although I did manage to walk a bit without them yesterday ! (pat on back for me)
