Also latest: Thousands of Georgian troops heading to teh frontline. Russian attacked and missed oil pipeline. Russian jets bombed Georgian naval dockyard. Around 5 Russian warplanes, now said to be shot down.

Thoughts and views. Mine is that, Russia is in the wrong, attacking soverign Georgian territory, (all of Georgia, not just in South Osetta) C'mon Georgia!!!

  1. They are already back...

  2. Georgia is in a terrible situation. It will not improve in the next year. As far as the 2,000 troops in Iraq that will take about 6 months to accomplish.

  3. But this Gergia's bomb down to S Osetea Territory in Cyinvalli/ Fttac Shcooll, Hospitall, chilldren

  4. If this crisis was'nt happening, then Georgians troops would remain in Iraq until the job is done, if they decieded to leave Iraq, then this would normally happen over a couple of months, not more than that. But this is an emergency call to the 2,000 troops to come home immediatly to defend the homeland. It can be done within, i would say 3 weeks, phrehaps less.

  5. not quickly enough, but seriously... I don't think Georgia stands much of a chance sadly

  6. To pull out 2000 troops from Iraq in a organised fashion will take atleast a week.

It will take atleast a day from them to be mobilised back home and another few days to organise and deploy them to the frontlines.

So I would say best part of two weeks.

  7. Georgia wont stand a chance..

but chances are is the us will try to help them out..

since john mccain announced that if Russia doesn't stop..

then they might have to step in..

  8. the americans have already started moving out some of the troops, probably a couple of weeks or so.
