story is, i would like to be in school again but problem is i would have to be a freshman again even though i belong in (either way) tenth or eleventh grade, and even though there is a maturity level difference there im actually smaller then alot of freshman that are 13/14 (5'9''), so i can pass off easily as 15 thats all i have to tell everyone. i also want to be back in school again is so my baseball skills can be noticed but i would only get 2 years so it needs to be done i cant be homeschooled and play baseball (not when tha community league has no senior league), but bottom line i would like to know if it would be the right thing to return to school even as embarassing as it is (just think im not giving up on my education can i get credit for that), so yeaaa opinions pease

  1. DEFF. go back to school because it will be worth it in the long run anyways, don't be a high school drop out.. go back and try it again. Plus i'm going to be a sophmore and everyone is around 16 so it's like one grade difference.

  2. i dont think it would be embarrasing there was an eighth grader last year who went to my school and i think he was 16 and i think he may of flunked again. it doesnt matter what people say.

  3. does it really matter?..... school is school it's where you go to learn and make friends dont be a drop out thats not cool go to school it will DEFINITALY be worth it trust me besides didnt you learn that words are just words.. (NO I AM NOT A DROPOUT i take school seriously)

  4. Unless you're the reincarnation of Babe Ruth, don't go back to school to play ball.  As far as that goes, don't go back to school to "play", period.  Most school districts won't let you continue your studies after the age of 19.  You need to get back in school to learn, and to get your diploma.  If it means having to take summer school, or even taking a GED, you just have to get that diploma.   The alternatives are, endless dead end, working your fingers to the bone, low paying jobs.  Even the armed services won't touch you without at least a GED.  Consider this a second chance, and take full advantage of it.

  5. what is it to them if u would want to go back to school? don't mind what others may think.. schooling is not embarrassing.. pursue your education!

  6. So you failed a grade or something? Don't worry dude your fine. But why would you want to pass as younger?

  7. it would be an awesome idea... nobody has to know except for school administrators. just tell everyone else that ur their age.

im a freshman and some guys in my grade are 6 foot. youll easily fit in.

  8. go back to school.

  9. hmmmmmmmm

  10. I don't think you should be worried about being 16 and going back to school. I know a 17 year old Freshman who just failed again...Some states require you to automatically move up a grade depending on age though, so you should look into that. Its just important you're going back to school, good luck.
