I like my share of electronics and things, but soon you won't even have that choice, have you upgraded already?

  1. Not yet.  Just got the information from my cable co. this month.  I am still confused in that I have 2 digital TVs and 3 analogue. The cable co. is offering quite a few package deals.  I did notice whatever I choose, it will cost me more than I am paying now.  Imagine I am going to make an appt. with a rep. for the company so I can figure out what is best for my household.

  2. Im digital already, HD plasmas, the picture is awesome hard to go to mates houses to watch tv now on there analogues.

  3. Oh I'm ready and I love it.

I only get to watch maybe a couple hours of TV in a day. Now that it's HD, I love it! Watching sports in non-HD is nowhere near the same as HD. I t hink it's funny when some of my friends buy big *** LCD/Plasma TVs and they still have standard cable hooked up.

And to think, some countries don't even have normal TV, what a age we live in!

  4. just recently bought 3 flat LCD'S and 2 converter boxes, still

waiting for coupons for 2 more boxes. i think i have too many

    tv's !

  5. Not at all.  I'm still waiting for my vouchers for the converter boxes from the government.  Yes, that's right.  I still use an antenna.  I have no need or desire for cable or satellite.  And since Wal-Mart will be selling them for a little under $50 per box, I'll be spending less than $20 total to cover both TVs. (The goverment vouchers are to cover $40 per box)

  6. All my tvs are now digital. But don't worry, a normal tv will be able to handle digital signals, but you should change within the next 2 years. All analong broadcasts will end in Feb. 2009

  7. you can go to www.dtv2009.gov and get a $40 cupon for a converter box for 2009
