  1. 250k

  2. $10,000.  Think about countries like Djibouti, India, Ethiopia, et al.

When thinking about who's rich, think about who is across the globe, not who's across town.

  3. 10 million in assets minimum

1 million income a year minimum

  4. It probably depends if you're living in Manhattan, NY or Bluffon, Ohio.

  5. Without giving a specific number I would say, living in a nice home, having nice cars, bills paid without a struggle, and having extra money on hand.  Another words, being comfortable all the way around without being tight.  Not worrying if gas prices go up, being able to shop for what you want, and without the worry that if something breaks how the heck can you afford to fix it without taking money from somewhere else. You get what I'm saying.  That's what I would consider being rich.

  6. I will borrow concepts from the SEC standard of accredited investor - at least $250,000 in income (depending on size of family) and/or a net worth above $1,000,000 (again depending on circumstances).

  7. $500,000 per year income is "rich."

    $1,000,000 per year is "wealthy."

Less than $40,000 per year is "the Democratic, handout loving powerbase."

  8. "Rich" is buying a mansion without having to ask what the price is. Or a car, or a yacht, or a..., etc.
