  1. Finger l*****g good. All the deluxe life you can imagine and no big responsibilities. I wish that I'm still studying.


  2. I've got one or two mates who are international students. I think, apart from some students having a language barrier, the lifestyle here is a bit different in Sydney. Obviously some international students come from English-speaking backgrounds, but I'm talking about the ones that come from a non-English speaking background.

    There is help available in most universities for study and essay writing etc, but I think a lot of people find it embarrassing to seek help this way. So they tend to stick with people of similar background who understand what they're going through.

    I think it's a bit tough financially too, I believe international students are limited in the number of hours they can work? The cost of living in Sydney isn't cheap, so that might be a slight problem...

    International students pay a lot more for their courses than domestic students, and I could argue the support and quality of teaching in some universities really isn't worth the money they're paying.

    But I'd definitely say Sydney is a great place to live and work, if you can afford it.
