So my best friend is leaving for college tomorrow morning... across the country... weve literally seen each other every single day the past 2 years.... we just said goodbye and recorded this...

It's always sad when someone you cared about move to another part of the country.

But with the advancement in technology, this gap in distance have narrowed down. You can always contact you friend via emails, IM & phone calls. Get a cam & ask your friend to do likewise. Then both of you can see each other & chat all you want everyday.

I can empathise.  My best friend lives on the other side of the continent, but we keep in touch through emails, IM, letters/parcels, webcam... there are many ways to keep in touch.  It'll hurt to be away from her, and you'll probably be bummed out for a while, but just try to focus on other things and don't forget about other friends.  You'll be fine =)
