How sad that Tim Russett died?

It's very sad, & a complete shock to us all. He was a good man who brought a lot in TV Journalism & had a very kind & loving heart to those whom he worked with. I am still in deep shock about how this had happened to him, but I know he's in a better place & our prayers & thoughts go to his family, friends, & co-workers who knew him best. He will be missed.

Oh I know! I still am in complete and utter shock! I just simply cannot believe it! And its sooo sad how he signed off his last show! He said he would see everyone again on sunday! :(

When the bulletin came in, I was in shock......He was only 58! My husband and I enjoyed our Sunday mornings watching him on Meet the Press.

He was a man who achieved greatness and never forgot his blue collar background. He loved his father who held two full time jobs to support his family. His father was a sanitation worker but Tim Russert was proud of him. He was a man of faith and a fair person. He will be missed

It was very sad.  He always treated his guests with respect, asked intelligent questions and was gracious and had a fine sense of humor.   He will be missed and quality television journalism has lost a star.

It is usually sad when a celebrity or famous person dies, especially at a young age.

I find that if I personally know the person who passes away, such as a neighbor, friend, colleague, it affects me far more.
