  1. I think that u r right....but in Rome there's a station a little bit more dangerous than Termini...I m speaking about..Tiburtino...This is the dark side of the eternal city(for me the most beautiful in the world)!!But u r right...terrmini is very very big and is always  completly full of people...the ideal place for terrorists "jokes"...In spite of being full of police everywhere...there is always a small percent of danger...when I was  there...i didn t think on this....but u made do it....concluding...this is a danger that we must risk...We can t stay at home everyday...because of what the terrorists can do....elsewhere...Ciao

  2. It's not safe, especially in the night! There are many nice places to stay in Rome, so if you can, don't stay near Termini!!!

  3. It depends...Hotel Stella is near Termini and it's quite safe. Never had a problem there or anywhere near it.

  4. I've lived in Rome for awhile, you really don't want to be near termini at night, and you have to constantly watch your belongings during the day.  There are a lot of "gypies" roming the tracks and near the buses.  If you can stay at a hotel further down Via Nazionale, closer to Piazza Venezia, you'll be much happier.  Hotel Artimede, and Hotel D'Russie are excellent places, to stay, alittle pricey, but beautiful.

  5. 100% safe, don't mind.

    Ciao from Italy

  6. Termini area is fine and perfectly safe. There is very little crime in Italy beyond petty theft. Keep your money in a front pocket and walk with purpose and you will have no problems. I've walked from Termini to the hotels south of there at all hours and it's perfectly safe. I carry a lot of cash and never worry. Tourists who act like a tourist will have trouble anywhere they go. If you plan to use the station, don't hesitate to stay nearby. A very nice three star hotel is Hotel Sonya at Via Viminale 58  http://www.hotelsonya.it/en/  I was just there last week and paid 75 Euro tax and breakfast included. Should cost about 150-190 Euro.

    Buono Vacaza!

  7. Stations are not 100% safe... but Rome is a safe city!
