How safe is my car and belongs on Amtrak's Auto Train?

  1. The auto goes from Virginia to Florida, not Baltimore.  You do not have to worry about your vehicle on the train.


  2. While it's not recommended to leave valuables in your car, your car and belongings in it should be fine as there's no access to the car racks while the train is en route.

  4. I've ridden the Auto Train many times.  My car has never been damaged.  The only loss I've had was some loose change that I kept near the dashboard.
