I am thinking of shipping my SUV from PR to Jacksonville. I was told that I can put my personal things in the vehicle at my own risk. Is it worth it?

  1. naw, I would take my stuff out just for peice of mind, I see transporters going down the road with car that have the window broke out and also I have see people looking in the car while the drivers are sleeping or in the motel

  2. Nope, it is just like those signs at the car dealerships that read (the dealership is not responsible for items left in the vehicle).

    Dont do it.....

  3. It would be very unsafe, unless you are given it away. Your car will be unlocked most of the time. If is locked at all. There will be dock worker, ship board personal, and dock workers. Then it has two inspection to past though going oversea. Were everything will be taken out.

  4. no its not anything left inside will be gone, i know for a fact

    dont do it

i work at a shipping and packaging company in miami and all the time stuff comes up missing from the port

make sure when you go to pick your car up bring a battery booster/ jumper from wal mart or something kuz your battery will be dead from ppl listening to the radio

2, bring windex and some paper towels kuz you wont be able to see out of the window be to dirty

    3. bring 5 gallons of gas, there most likely wont be any in the car, or not enough to get to a station for gas

  5. You were told "at your own risk".    That means no promises that your things will still be there,  no insurance on your belonging shipped this way.     This is only good for things with no value,   such as your brooms and mops.    Do not attempt to ship anything that is worth something like this.
