  1. Internet safety depends on what you do to take it.  Ultimately it is a safe place but the threat of viruses and identity theft are growing everyday because people just assume they are safe on the Internet.  You have to proactively search for the best ways to stay protected.

You obviously need an antivirus software, but a proxy server is your next best friend.  It will keep your IP hidden so that companies can't track you, or so a hacker can't steal your information.

Also use common sense such as clearing your internet history, not using easy to steal passwords, and don't give out your personal information.

  2. very safe if you keep yourself protected with good software!

  3. MOST OF D SITES ENCRYPTS D DATA..

IT DEPENDS HOW U PLAY OVA IT.. IF U KEEP URSELF LIMITED TO KNOWN SITES, U WONT B EXPOSED TO THREATS LIKE VIRUSES. IF U DONT POST UR IDS NEWHERE, UR ID WONT GET SELLED..

MANY SITES (UNTRUSTED) ASKS FOR UR ID N THN SELLS IT.. SO IN MANY CASES UR MAILBOX GETS FLOODED WID MAILS..

    ITS TOTALLY ON YA :)
