I am looking for ways to get people to donate money to help my group with this group we picked out. I don't know what I should do, It's a lot harder to get people to donate now adays without them getting something in return. What should I do? What should I say? Can I ask during classes in school?

What's the group and the cause? Is this a school-related thing? You haven't really given enough information.

If it's a school club, start a fund-raiser. But you haven't given enough info to really answer this question properly...
