  1. I wouldn't freak out, just listen to the weather radio or news and be cautious and ready to take shelter. We had them all the time when I lived in Oklahoma.

  2. A tornado watch just means that there is a potential for a tornado...  So basically it just means be prepared, and stay tuned to you local news on TV or radio.  You can also keep up with current conditions at the National Weather Services website, www.nws.noaa.gov   or keep up on severe storm predictions at,   www.spc.noaa.gov.   There are thousands of watches put out every month most of them amount to nothing.

  3. It depends on if the area you live in actually has tornados often. I live on Long Island and we have tornado watches from time to time... But I don't think we've had a tornado here for like... decades.

Either way, don't be SCARED. Just be prepared. And listen to the news.

  4. Keep listening to the radio, but don't make it a big deal.

    Just worry about warnings.

  5. During a watch, not very scared at all.  It depends on where you live.  Do you have a radar channel to keep watch on the storm?  If not there are radars on the internet.

You actually have a better chance of being struck by lightning than being hit by a tornado.

  6. l would totally be freaking out
