  1. QB:  B+ Could be an A if Anderson matched last year.

RB:  B-  Great starters but no depth at all.

WR: B-  Great starters again, with lots of mediocre depth.

TE:  C  Until he actually does something, it's just hype.

    K:     A  It's a kicker.

D:    B-  The NE offense won't give them a 17 point lead by halftime every game this year, so their age will show.

If you can trade Holmes or Ward for a decent RB, I'd do it.  I'd even part with Wayne for a top RB.  If you can get a Kenny Watson or Justin Fargas either by trade or free agent pick up, you should.  Those two in particular are getting over looked this year even though they could be starters.  There are also a lot of rookie RB that might not be on a roster in your league.  Watch the games closely to see if any of them break out and then jump on them.

  2. I would give it an overall B- it is decent could have done alot worse and alot better however I like Ted Ginn JR (he won't play much but he did great for my favorite college team expect him to be alot better in a year or two)

  3. Okay I think your down fall is going to be your WRs. I think you should upgrade the WR position by trading Hines + Bush for maybe a Tj or Fitzgerald. Also your TE Davis can be a big sleeper playing for Martz or can be a huge bust. Overall a C- for this team. You probably will miss the playoffs with this team if you don't add a couple more players.

  4. QB/B- Good starter

RB/A- Good depth with Bush on bench

WR/D+ Wayne is great, but afetr that nothing special

TE/C+ Davis could be huge, but has to prove it.

  5. QB: B-  If Anderson can do as good as last year then the grade goes up.  I don't know if he'll be able to tho - unproven.

RB: B+  I love Jackson.  Can Jones-Drew carry the load full time?  Once Taylor retires/ gets hurt he'll have to try.  Need to get another backup RB.

WR: B-  Great depth but only Wayne is a locked WR position every week.  Like Engram as a fill-in.  He may lead Sea. at WR this year.

TE: B  I love Davis as a player.  Martz is in SF now tho.  Bad news for TEs.  He throws a lot but they go to receivers.

    K: who cares.  they're a dime a dozen.

DEF: B-  NE's secondary is weak and a lot of guys are getting old.  Atleast their offense will help keep them off the field longer.

Overall: B  Should make the play-offs but how far will you go?

  6. In a nutshell, at best a 7 for the team.  Anderson should be as good as last year.  Your WRs are your downfall.  You do not need 7 WRs.  Holmes and Ward are good but I'd never draft 2 WRs from the same team.  You need to get rid of 1 or both of them.  Unfortunately the Steelers have one of the toughest schedules in the league(Ravens 2x, Browns 2x, Colts, Chargers, Patriots, Cowboys, Giants).  Jackson is your only sure fire RB.  MoJo may do well but it all depends on how well Taylor plays.  Your bench is weak.

  7. QB: B. I'm just not sold that Anderson will repeat the success of last year and he has Brady Quinn breathing down his neck if he struggles. However, he does have some nice targets to throw to in Edwards and Winslow. Jason Campbell could surprise people this year with the young targets he has and the new wide-open offense installed.

RB: A-. Jones Drew shares the backfield, but that hasn't stopped him from scoring a boatload of TD's the past 2 years. Jackson is one of the top 3 RB's in the league. Reggie Bush has talent (although we haven't seen much of it yet) and could have a breakout season anytime.

WR: B. Wayne could produce the most of any WR this year. Holmes could breakout in his 3rd season and Ward is solid. Personally, I don't like having the top 2 WR's on any team on my team with a couple exceptions and the Steelers aren't that exception. Ginn supposedly has impressed the Dolphins' staff in the offseason and could be a steal.

TE: B. If Vernon Davis plays up to his potential, he will dominate.

K: B. You can never tell with kickers on a year-to-year basis, so this is the most unknown on your (and everyone else's) team.

DEF: B+. Yes, NE lost a good amount this offseason (especially in the secondary). Yes, they are aging (especially at LB). However it's NE. Belichick will have them ready to play.

  8. Oh great god,

Do you think New England's defense is OLD?

It's totally revamped, don't be so ignorant.

All their DL is mid-aged.  The LB core just added Mayo (some youth)

And they drafted a lot of DB's.  5 of 7 of their picks were on LB/DB's.
