Question:

How secure are building like the Downing Street and the House of Commons?

Please note, I'm not planning anything...

I just want to know what kind of security is in place there. I know they have armed guards at such locations but how many? And what other security will be in place.

I appreciate no one can really know, Official Secrets Act and all that, but speculation and educated guesses are fine.

If I don't choose a best answer you can assume MI6 read this and got suspicious.....

  4. Nowhere is 100% secure. Surely the lost laptops and discs prove this. Somebody must have got them out.

They are very protected. in downing street, the whole street is closed and the entry and exits are protected by three layers of police cars. there are many police men in and around the street. there is RAF cover and snipers too, i think. they probably have a lot of armed guards!!!!!!!! this is what i think am not sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Well, the MPs can sign people in, so a corrupt MP can let anybody in. The man who threw purple powder over the PM was signed in by an MP.
