Papaya seeds cannot be differentiated at seed level as male seeds or female seeds in fact the gender of the plant can be identified only when it is in flowering stage. But there is a molecular biological method by which at seedling stage the gender of the seedling can be checked. For this a leaf is taken out from the seedling and its DNA is isolated and the fingerprinting to identify the s*x of the plant.
