  1. Joe Torre and more money.

  2. Joe Girardi has to mature as a manager.  He let M. Cabrera stay in the lineup way too long.  He let Cano make a fool of himself early in the season by standing three feet away from the plate.  He let Cashman bully him into accepting Kennedy and Hughes as main stay pitchers.

  3. Their problems are serious. In order to bring a championship level back they need to start pitching their bullpen needs to start saving games but importantly the Yankee hitters need to hit in order to support their pitchers. Their starting pitchers need to hold down the opposing team allowing the hitters to hit all at once. They need to start playing abc ball instead of just try for homeruns.

  4. Very serious.

The hardest part is that many of the problems were due to injury, especially to the starting rotation. It will take health and a steady rotation and bullpen to bring them to championship level. Oh, and Larry Bowa, so that we can actually get something from Robinson Cano.

Not giving up hope for this year-- they're still in it. Barely breathing, hardly hanging on, but they're in it.

  5. winning games and boston/minnesota to lose games

    thats what it will take

  6. they SUCK!!!!

    BEST ANSWER ME!!!!

  7. really serious trade jason giambi for an really good pitcher or a 1st base and i would try to get c.c sabathia, ben sheets and get rid of carl pavano there paying players to play not to be sit in the injury list all year he been for more than 1 year he has made a full season in our team..i would leave ivan rodriguez, jose molina use jorge posada as our 1st baseman

  8. I think "Hankenstein" makes them more serious than they actually are. The minors are drained, but that could be fixed with a good old -fashioned rebuilding. They also need to get the payroll down before than can begin to come back the right way.

When you have a run that lasts as long as theirs has, what is happening now is inevitable. How they handle it from here on in, will tell you what kind of future they'll have; and what they do in the offseason could be determined by how far the Mets go this year.

  9. Well we all know that 275 Million Dollars didnt do anything to help stop the bleeding.

  10. We need to go and revamp our bull pen. After we lost Joba to injuries trying to make him a starter too soon, we should have woke up, and signed some good pitchers, Sabathia for example. We need to figure out why A- Rod chokes up against teams like the B Sox come on now, how many will he leave in scoring positiopn when we need him to get some RBIS? I know my cousin Thurman is rolling in his grave over the way they have been playing lately, Somedays, I do not even want to see ESPN Baseball today because it is a source of pain. How about asking Joe Torre to come back?

  11. Very serious.

They need CC Sabathia to be at championship level.  Good thing that'll never happen.  :-p
