I realise that some individuals make choices to rough sleep, but do you think the system fails our homeless people?

  1. We have a plethora of shelters, however, shelter sleep is pretty rough, that is, if you ever get any sleep! One has to constantly "watch your back", you'd better watch your own, my heart goes out to moms with children, and the victims of violence or abuse. What "the system" has failed, no matter where you live, is not just the homeless, the working class people have suffered also. With an economy that supports free enterprise, education as a means of achieving a better socio-economic status, and opportunities like, "So You Wanna Be A Millionaire?", why then do you think the distribution of money, and economic growth, is so asymmetric? "The rich get richer, the poor get poorer"  Will there ever be a happy medium?...

  2. Very seriously, the mayor always snores though so we roll him into the ditch.

  3. nobody bothers much about it round here and some are only kids, they should get some help even if they get put in a shelter at least they will be warm and fed properly

  4. I know the system here does fail the homeless people, they would rather spend money on new baseball or football stadiums and and tall buildings. They need shelters for these people and somewhere safe for them to sleep and teachers for them to help get a job a trade something to make them feel wanted and needed, not some trash sitting to be picked up and forgotten. They need to feel human again.

  5. No. Homeless people fail the system.

  6. Yes I do it is a very serious matter and there should be more shelters to help the homeless and those who are down and out...
