How serious is it if I find a peace of glass in food I orderd?

Don't worry I didn't find anything in my food, I'm just curious to know what the consequences would be.

Also what if someone puts Glass or bugs purposely in their ordered food?

if you ate it you could die :|

then there could also be a lawsuit :|

and then the resturant/company could be sued :|

so dont eat any thing if you find glass in it :|

Serious enough where if u eat the glass by accident & it does damage you can file a lawsuit.

I guess it would depend on whether or not you actually ate it and got injured.  I really don't know...but I would be very angry if i found glass in my food!  That's so dangerous!

my husband and i ate at o'charleys one evening, the food tasted much better than we expected, except at the end of the meal when w were munching my hubby chomped down on a chunk of glass in the squash.

We immediately reported it, and they made the bill free - although we were treated like we had made the whole thing up to get out of paying.

It was a very frusterating situation, because for all the managers know, the customer could stage the incident to not have to pay, although we would never do something like that.
