How serious was Tripp Isenhour fined with that hawk killing?

It better be a serious fine.  The P in PGA stands for professional.  Any golfer (much less a professional) pulling that stunt is inexcusable.

The county charged him with cruelty to animals.  He was trying to hit the tree to scare the bird out of there and accidentally hit the bird which died.  A lot of hub-bub about an accident.

The TOUR hasn't disclosed any kind of fine. He may be fined by the city/court. It was an accident, nobody kills a bird with a golf ball on purpose...it was a lucky shot. Unlucky for the bird.
