  1. this site will give you a sony vaio laptop just for completing some quick online tasks! really recommend it, especially if you're broke but really want/need a laptop (like me).

  2. Well here is a real simple question. Did you remember to buy a WIRELESS ROUTER? This is a common mistake that most people make. If you did then you have to set up your wireless connection in your computer. The Wizard should be able to get you through it step by step.

  3. Some wireless adapters require you to load the driver files before and shut down.  Then insert the card and reboot

  4. You should plug your modem into your router, using an Ethernet cable.

From there, if you laptop has an internal wireless card, you may be able to access your network without having to do much.

However, if your laptop doesn't have an internal wireless card and you're using an adaptor or external card, then perhaps you should try installing your network card and then checking to see if you're able to access your network.

Good luck and I hope I helped you!

  5. you need to go START > CONTROL PANEL > WIRELESS NETWORK SETUP WIZARD

hope i helped. if i didnt, then at least take this advise. when you do figure it out go to your routers IP adress through internet explorer (its usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1 and you need to type that in the adress bar) and give your wireless router security, or else your neighbors will steal internet from you, which will make your internet go slow, AND if they can hack, they will hack into your computer and steal your files.
