Question:

How should Adidas boxing shoes fit?

I need to buy a pair of boxing shoes. I think the general consensus of boxers pretty much agrees that Adidas are pretty good shoes and I want to buy a pair. I just want to know how the sizes run. Are they the same as regular sneakers or do I have to buy a smaller or bigger size? And how snug are they supposed to be? I'm buy size 9.5, but I could probably fit a 9, it just wouldn't be that comfy. I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

  1. they should fit tight around your feet so they fit snug around your feet. it should not be so tight it hurts but there cannot be any loose parts to it. if yo are a I am a 9 in pumas and I got a 9 in Title boxing shoes and they fit me great. the reason for not wanting extra room is so that way you can pivot on your toes and have the arch that you need for staying on your toes the whole time.

  2. I found that all Adidas shoes required me to get a 1/2 size larger to fit me properly. Don't know whey, but that is the case in my regard. Good luck.

  3. With adidas boxing shoes i've found that between one half and one full size smaller than everyday shoes is perfect. The shoe should feel like it isnt there when you're in the ring, there should be no room for the foot to "wiggle" but should not be tight enough that you can feel it on your foot...I dont know if that makes a lot of sense but I hope it helps.

  4. i've never bought boxing shoes but i've bought ballet shoes. *clears throat*

i would BET (only a bet LOL) that they run a full size smaller than normal shoes. that's how ballet shoes fit. :-)

  5. i have the addidas box hog...

    they fit snug..

they are really light and comfortable because that they are made with mesh material to ventilate the air and cool my feet..

these shoes fit tight but in a good way..

    im a size 11.5.. i bought a 12

    for 54.99
